GSL Education is currently seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for schools in Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire.

Job Summary:The role of a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in primary schools are multifaceted, designed to support both the teaching staff and students in various capacities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across various subjects.
  • Provide focused support to small groups of students, helping to boost their confidence and academic achievement.
  • Work with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities, promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Assist with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the classroom and school activities.

Requirements:

  • HLTA status or equivalent qualifications and experience.
  • Proven experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Commitment to promoting the well-being and development of all students.
