The role:
- Create and Implement Quality procedures, work instructions, records and other related documents
- Maintain a document control system for Quality system documentation
- Ensure processes and respective documents conform to TS16949, QSB, Q1 and VDA requirements
- Control and maintain a system for the calibration of measurement equipment
- Source and purchase replacement measurement equipment as and when necessary
- Maintain a list of Poka Yoke devices used in manufacturing departments
- Lead and conduct Internal system, process and product audits
- Lead and coordinate customer audits on site
- Coach and mentor Internal Auditors
- Support External auditing programmes
- Track progress of Customer and Internal 8D corrective and Preventative Actions
Essential Criteria:
- Third level qualification in an engineering/ technical discipline.
- Candidates with a lesser qualification, significant relevant experience and a demonstrated commitment to personal development will also be considered.
- IT literate, and proficient in the use of MS Excel
- Working with and setting up Quality Management Systems
- Application of problem solving techniques
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work effectively on own initiative and effectively contribute within a team environment
- Ability to see activities through to completion
- Ability to interact effectively with both managerial and operational levels
- Desirable Critieria:
- Lead auditor certification for ISO / TS16949
- Knowledge of PFMEA, control plans and measurement system analysis
- Experience within a manufacturing and/or customer-facing environment
