CAD Quality Assurance Manager Job Description

Polar Telecoms Limited is seeking an experienced CAD Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of our CAD designs for mobile telecoms infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the quality assurance process for CAD designs related to mobile telecoms infrastructure.
  • Review and validate CAD drawings to ensure accuracy, compliance with project specifications, and adherence to industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure a consistent and high standard of work is produced.
  • Develop and implement QA procedures and checklists to streamline the CAD design process.
  • Identify errors, inconsistencies, or potential issues in drawings and provide feedback to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure designs meet their specifications and resolve any quality issues or concerns.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of telecoms design standards and mobile operator requirements.
  • Train and mentor junior CAD staff on quality control best practices.
  • Continuously improve QA processes by identifying opportunities for optimisation and implementing changes as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in CAD Quality Assurance within telecoms, engineering, or a similar industry.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good time management.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work closely with internal teams and external clients.
