Job overview

Dear prospective candidate,

Thank you for taking the time to review the details of this exciting role.

We are excited to recruit a specialist Speech and Language Therapist on a fixed term contract, to work within the acute inpatient team at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, covering a maternity leave position. The hours per week and length of contract can be flexible around the needs of the applicant; we can support up to full time (for a shorter contract length), or part time working (for a longer contract length). This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to develop and refine their skills across a complex mixed acute caseload, whilst working alongside a friendly and supportive team. We are looking forward to welcoming a driven and creative team player who thrives in a busy, multi-disciplinary team environment. You will work directly alongside other Speech and Language Therapists covering complex mixed acute wards and Neurosciences wards, including elements of critical care, and link very closely with other Speech and Language Therapists working in the Hyper-Acute Stroke Unit. This is a varied and exciting role where you will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team and wider specialist services, ensuring patients receive high quality, person-centred and effective care.

If you are interested in this role please take the time to contact me.

With best wishes,

Charlie Charlie Howland
