Job Description

The ServiceNow Partner Design Studio is actively seeking a Solution Architect to join their team. As a Solution Architect, you’ll play a crucial role in co-creating innovative solutions with ServiceNow partners. Here are the key aspects of the role:

  1. Technical Leadership: You’ll provide technical expertise and guidance, acting as a trusted advisor to partners. Your insights from successful ServiceNow projects will help partners make informed decisions that drive business outcomes.
  2. Complex Solutions: The Design Studio Architect leads stakeholders through creating partner-branded offerings using the ServiceNow platform. You’ll ensure partners can realize the value they need by leveraging best practices and industry standards.
  3. Strategic Conversations: The ideal candidate will engage in strategic discussions based on industry trends, market positioning, and horizontal opportunities. This helps partners deploy ServiceNow effectively as a solution.

What you’ll get to do as a Solution Architect within the ServiceNow Partner Design Studio:

  1. Engage with Strategic Partners: You’ll work closely with market-making strategic partners, serving as their technical and design guide. Understanding their business imperatives and specializations will be key.
  2. Technology Conversations: Lead discussions with partners about ServiceNow platform and technology capabilities. Be an evangelist for these offerings.
  3. Collaborate on Business Plans: Work with partners to create business plans, define goals, strategies, and measurable objectives.
  4. Facilitate Design Workshops: Help partners uncover market needs and document user personas. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring offerings to market.
  5. Understand Partner Capabilities: Develop a clear understanding of partners’ solution offerings, markets addressed, and co-creating goals.
  6. Solution Scoping: Assist in defining offerings and project scoping. Identify necessary capabilities for successful delivery.
  7. Promote Solution Offerings: Cultivate relationships and communicate with ServiceNow field to promote partner solutions.

 


Qualifications

Qualifications for success in the Solution Architect role within the ServiceNow Partner Design Studio:

  1. Experience: You should have 8+ years of technical sales, pre-sales, or similar experience.
  2. Technology Partner Experience: Material experience working with technology partners, either at a partner or OEM level, is essential.
  3. Cloud-Based Platforms: An excellent understanding of architectural principles for cloud-based platforms, including SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, and automation, is crucial.
  4. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industries such as Financial Services, Banking, Healthcare, or Manufacturing is a plus.
  5. Curiosity and Innovation: You should be intrinsically curious and passionate about researching current and emerging technologies to develop innovative solutions.
  6. Effective Communication: Talented at explaining complex topics clearly and concisely, you’ll be effective at providing practical guidance and presenting at the highest level.
  7. Engagement at the CxO Level: Experience working in large corporate enterprises and government environments, engaging with CxO-level executives, is valuable.

  3. ServiceNow Platform Development: Direct experience with ServiceNow platform development is a significant advantage. It demonstrates your hands-on expertise.
  4. ServiceNow Certifications: Holding ServiceNow certifications validates your knowledge and proficiency. Consider pursuing relevant certifications.
  5. Design Thinking: Certifications or demonstrable training in Design Thinking highlight your ability to approach problems creatively and empathetically.
  6. Effective Communication: Lastly, your skill in presenting architecture concepts and designs to technology leaders and partners is crucial.
