We at GSL Education Essex are currently working in partnership with schools across Essex that are looking for reliable and professional Exam Invigilators to support their examination process. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with strong attention to detail, who can uphold a calm and controlled environment to ensure fair examination conditions. The Exam Invigilator role offers flexible hours, ideal for candidates seeking part-time or seasonal work with immediate availability.

They are seeking Exam Invigilators who are punctual, reliable, and committed to supporting students in maintaining exam protocol. The schools strive to create a positive and organized environment for both students and staff during exam periods.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise students during exams to ensure a calm and orderly environment.
• Distribute and collect exam papers and materials.
• Ensure that exam conditions comply with the school’s policies and procedures.
• Assist students with any queries or issues that arise during the exam.
• Monitor students to prevent cheating or misconduct.
• Report any incidents or irregularities to the exam coordinator.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and exam materials.

Requirements:

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Previous experience in an educational setting (desirable but not essential).
• A commitment to upholding the integrity of the exam process.
• Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check in line with safeguarding requirements.
