We are seeking an experienced, creative and strategic Individual Giving Manager to join our Fundraising and Lottery team and play a vital role in raising funds to help us advance our mission of delivering compassionate care. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of those we serve.

Our aim is to enable people to live as fully as they are able for however many days, weeks, or months they have left.

Role Overview:

The Individual Giving Manager is a new, important and exciting role within our Fundraising and Lottery team. You will lead the development and delivery of our Individual Giving Strategy with the primary aim of significantly increasing income generation from major and mid-value donors, regular giving, and payroll giving. In a challenging economic climate, your leadership and direction will be vital in driving this area of fundraising to new heights.

You will work closely and collaboratively with the Head of Fundraising and Lottery and as a champion of Individual Giving, you will raise awareness of the importance of this income stream, both internally and externally, demonstrating how these funds make a profound difference in the lives of those affected by life-limiting or terminal illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive Individual Giving Strategy. Significantly increase income generation from major and mid-value donors, regular giving, and payroll giving. Understand and analyse the market, identifying opportunities and supporter motivations to tailor approaches effectively. Focus on ongoing donor stewardship, building strong and lasting relationships with supporters/donors. Manage an income target of circa £500,000 across Individual Giving channels. Collaborate with senior managers, directors, and trustees to support the cultivation of relationships with individual supporters/donors. Champion and promote Individual Giving products within the organisation and throughout our Lincolnshire community and beyond to support the Charity’s Trust-wide Organisational and Income Generation Strategies for 2024-2029

Qualifications and Experience:

Applications are welcome from candidates who are educated to degree level or equivalent and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Fundraising/Business Development role with a proven track record of achieving targets.

Ideally you will have proven/be able to demonstrate experience:

In the development and execution of a comprehensive and innovative Individual Giving Strategy. In working with major and mid-value donors, regular giving, and payroll giving. Of donor stewardship, building strong and lasting relationships with supporters Be an excellent communicator with the ability to engage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Strong networking and relationship-building skills Excellent and confident presentation skills Be an innovative and strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalise on opportunities with individual donors The ability to understand and analyse the market, identifying opportunities and supporter motivations to tailor approaches effectively. Contract: Permanent
