About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Hanningfield Laboratory as a Team Leader that provides essential analytical services for the production and supply of wholesome, delicious drinking water, to benefit our customers, communities, and the environment.
As Team Leader you’ll bring your customer-focused approach to manage a team of analysts and scientists in all aspects of team leadership, cost control and think-on-your-feet decision making.
You will undertake day to day management of the quality system within the laboratory working with lab and accreditation teams. You will work closely with our sampling and water quality teams to ensure we maintain an exceptional analytical service to the business.
About you
If you have proven experience in a scientific environment with ISO17025 or equivalent accreditation, are at least HNC qualified (or equivalent) in a scientific discipline and enjoy working in a busy team environment with opportunities to develop both your technical and leadership skills we want to hear from you.
Strong communication skills are essential both in person and online, the ability to manage issues as they arise, and also to manage varying workload through the team, delivering within specific time frames and deadlines.
Interviews will take place in person week commencing 30 September 2024.
