Main duties of the job

Provide a high standard of patient care and treatment.Stay up-to-date with scanning protocols to ensure high-quality imaging.Process radiology bookings efficiently.Carry out RIS/PACS processes promptly.Maintain patient care and confidentiality in accordance with Ramsay policies.Report faults and departmental concerns efficiently.

Senior MRI Radiographer Clifton Park Hospital, YorkClosing date: 31 July 2024Full Time - hours per weekSalary: Competitive Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Senior MRI Radiographer to join our patient-centred team at Clifton Park Hospital. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality imaging services and has a strong awareness of the MRI environment, prioritising patient safety. The Radiology Department Our Radiology department boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including a Siemens Sola MRI scanner, which has been operational since August 2022. Additionally, we have two Philips digital x-ray rooms, ultrasound services, and mobile CT facilities, ensuring comprehensive diagnostic imaging services. The Role The successful candidate will:

Have experience in running orthopaedic, general, and MRI contrast lists. Possess a thorough knowledge of MRI policies and procedures. Demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills. Liaise effectively with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) as part of daily routines. Be available to work during our operational hours, currently Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities Provide a high standard of patient care and treatment. Stay up-to-date with scanning protocols to ensure high-quality imaging. Process radiology bookings efficiently. Essential Qualities Diploma or degree in Diagnostic Radiography MRI Post Graduate Certificate would be desirable HCPC registered. Previous MRI experience. Organised, flexible, and possess good time management skills. Evidence of post-registration development and a desire to learn. Diploma or degree in Diagnostic Radiography MRI Post Graduate Certificate would be desirable HCPC registered. Previous MRI experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
