Job summary – What to expect:

The Senior QA Analyst role is the Process Owner of global reporting, responsible for the compilation and technical review of Global Quality System data. Responsibilities will include the extraction, analysis, and translation of key Quality Systems data into actionable reports for global business stakeholders.

In this role, you will be conducting and issuing the assessment of Global Quality System data to support the Global Quality System and Compliance teams. Working in collaboration with Global Process Owners and IT, you will be identifying system improvements to enable the extraction of metadata for evidence of compliance and for continual improvement assessment of the Global Quality System.

About you:~

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

Manage the design, development, production, and delivery of analytical data reports to support operational reporting needs for the Global Quality System. Various data sources shall be utilized, (., Agile, Global QMS, Local QMS site data capture) and present to Senior QA Leads from Global and local sites. Ensure reporting / KPI responsibilities and processes are documented, and reporting materials produced are subject to appropriate controls prior to distribution. Reduce the reliance on manual data collection/spreadsheets by producing automated reporting solutions, utilizing existing tools. Working with Process Owners to ensure the consistency, uniformity, and accuracy of global data. Provide specialist knowledge in Global QMS processes to support Global Quality Systems management and other business stakeholders in data extraction for non-routine reporting. Use Business Analysis skills to help identify potential issues and propose potential solutions. Act as the Global QA systems representative within cross functional teams on significant continual improvement IT / data projects. Performs other assignments related to the department as directed by Leadership.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to lead projects and chair meetings. Displays a positive mental attitude. Highly self-motivated and self-directed. Well organized and detail oriented, strong data entry and analysis. Highly adaptable, flexible, and willing to accept new ideas, processes, and procedures. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Possesses skills to utilize the concepts of continuous improvement and change management. Ability to work with a diverse workforce.  Knowledge of Medical Device regulations and QMS methodologies, including Good Documentation Practices Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail. Ability to drive to root cause. Understands basic Internet and client/server architectures.  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.  Experience with Agile preferred. Proposes solutions to problems and considers timeliness, effectiveness, and practicality in addressing user group needs.  Generates innovative solutions by approaching problems with curiosity and open mindedness, using existing information to its fullest potential.

Experience and Education:

High level of IT literacy – concepts, terminology and application. Demonstrable experience of working with Quality System data, such as Agile, in a fast-paced manufacturing / retail environment. Expert working knowledge of Excel is essential (specifically working with macros, formulas, and VBA). Report writing experience preferable. Bachelor’s degree required in a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Minimum 1 years of experience in a data analyst role in a regulated, certified QMS organisation.
