ESG CONSULTANCY / LONDONInvestor ESG Director
Role PurposeTo support the Head of Investor ESG with the implementation of the IESG business plan. Driving continued growth, quality and thought leadership. Providing expertise, leadership and project managerial support across the IESG team to deliver successful outcomes for Investor clients.
Key Responsibilities Assist with the implementation of the IESG business plan including; developing market-leading ESG solutions for Investor Clients, maintaining high quality engagement & delivery with existing clients, identifying and acting on new client opportunities, financial management and leadership support. Responsible for providing thought leadership to enhance service offering. Assist with creation and delivery of pitches and provide expert ESG advice to internal and external stakeholders; Oversee, and quality assure, the provision of sustainability services to Clients. Collaborate across the Geographies and ESG teams to ensure sustainability is part of CBREs integrated property solution offering; Explore opportunities for ESG projects within the external real estate market; targeting high-quality Clients and projects across a range of market sectors; Develop and maintain key client relationships and maximize opportunities for repeat business; Develop and deliver Continued Professional Development and workshops to CBRE internal and Client teams on sustainability related legislation, emerging sectoral trends and the performance of sustainability programmes; Innovate processes, products and services to drive efficiencies and effectiveness, and to stay abreast of legislative and market developments.
Person Specification/Requirements Bachelor degree required, MBA or other masters degree preferable. Able to influence third parties to achieve desired sustainability outcomes. Ability to understand and analyse information to be able to recommend informed solutions to problems. Experience of delivering ESG strategies to support investor clients. Understanding of key environmental, social and governance issues affecting businesses, as well as reporting and disclosure (e.g. GRESB, EPRA etc.). Experience of operating in a complex, commercial environment. Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong attention to detail. Ability to foster and maintain collaborative relationships across departments. Ability to work independently, problem-solve and manage multiple priorities.
