They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) to join their business in this brand new role. Conduct comprehensive analysis and assessment of our organization's environmental impact, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing practical solutions.
- Stay informed about emerging sustainability trends, risks, and opportunities, recommending new strategies to align with evolving ESG requirements.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including investors, clients, and regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance with ESG reporting obligations.
- Contribute to the development of relevant policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain and improve our ESG performance.
- Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks and standards, such as Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), or United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- In-depth understanding of current ESG trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Environmental Sustainability: Identify and manage environmental impact areas, such as carbon emissions, waste management, resource consumption, and renewable energy integration.
* Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks, ethics policies, and accountability mechanisms to ensure compliance and responsible business practices.
* Risk Management: Assess potential sustainability risks and start to develop mitigation strategies
