Requirements

Whatthe role willinvolve:

  • Settingand Operating 5 Axis Mazak Lathes with mill/turncapability.
  • Settingprocess includes selection of tooling and programme clamping thebillet in place establish datum points to calibrate theprogramme.
  • Runningthe programme and watching the machine to make sure there are noissues.
  • Dimensionalinspection of the parts to make sure they are withintolerance.
  • Deburringthepart.
  • Completionof any required process controldocumentation.


Whatwe are looking for in the successfulcandidate:

  • 5Axis CNC Turningexperience.
  • Experiencein low volume high precisionenvironments.
  • Qualityinspection experience orknowledge.

What the role will involve: Setting and operating a Mazak 5-AxisMilling Machine with Mazatrol controls. Setting process includesselection of tooling, and programme, clamping the billet in place,establish datum points to calibrate the programme. Running theprogramme, and watching the machine to make sure there are noissues. Dimensional inspection of the parts to make sure they arewithin tolerance. De-burring the part. Completion of any requiredprocess control documentation. What we are looking for in thesuccessful candidate: 5 Axis CNC Milling experience. Experience inlow volume, high precision environments. Quality inspectionexperience or knowledge.
