It is a critical role with a with a wide-ranging remit to improve the new business function in order to grow the revenue and profitability of the business. The role requires strategic and operational leadership, superb people skills, drive, ambition, great communication skills as well as understanding of operating in a regulated environment. Please note this role will require twice weekly travel to our Newcastle-Under-Lyme office.

A day in the life:

Recruitment, training and development of the business development team Development of the sales strategy; key sectors to enter, type of merchants to target, implementing a robust and consistent sales methodology Partnership strategy; identification, qualification and relationship building with key strategic partners Pipeline management; expanding the existing new business pipeline, enhancing the qualification process, identifying margin opportunities Increasing B2B brand awareness Working with the commercial team to establish and agree a clear go to market product feature strategy
