Job Description:

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs (SEN)? We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Teaching Assistant to join our team in Wolverhampton. This full-time role (Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm) offers an exciting opportunity to support students in a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering educational programs.
  • Support students in their learning activities.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students.
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior monitoring.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of GCSE Maths and English.
  • Additional qualifications in education or child development.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Patience and empathy when working with students.
  • Must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
