You will be heavily Involved in Improvement projects looking at automation solutions promoting the latest Innovation available to improve process and reliability.

What you’ll do:

To manage adherence to the plant reliability process and OEE Targets by designing, analysing, or reviewing unplanned events on complex problems, reporting daily through the Engineering Strategic Information Hub. This is inclusive of defining, writing, simulating, and configuring PLC and Visualisation Program as required.

Perform a variety of engineering assignments in planning and overseeing research, development, design, construction, test, installation, operation, and maintenance of diverse EC&I systems and components.

Train/consult other engineers on technical issues related to the research, design, development, testing and analysis of engineering assignments.

Develop, maintain, and produce technical documentation and system/subsystem specifications to verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and procedures.

Prepare, deliver, and submit technical papers and perform engineering studies

Create designs to ensure functionality of Electrical, Control and Instrumentation systems according to quality, safety, reliability, maintainability, and cost targets

Schedule own work to meet manufacturing and delivery targets as detailed in the project plan

What you’ll bring:

Problem solving experience on a wide range of electrical and PLC Systems

Involvement in conception to delivery of improvement projects

Well-rounded knowledge or experience in Mechanical, Electrical & Automation Engineering

Extensive experience in frontline maintenance in an FMCG Facility
