We are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in Dermatology Outpatients Department, based at Queens Hospital, Burton. Our team consists of a Lead Clinical Nurse Specialists, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Dermatology Registered Nurses, Dermatology Healthcare Support workers and 7 Consultant Dermatologists.
Main duties of the job
Main Duties of the job includes:
Working as part of the Dermatology Team to assist in the smooth daily running of the department. Nurse led clinics-including, Skin surgery, Light Therapy, patch testing, Botox and Iontophoresis. Scrub Nurse duties assisting with skin surgery. Supporting Consultant and Doctor led clinics Ensuring patients / carers and visitors are supported throughout their visit to DermatologyClosing date of applications: 15th July 2024

An average of 1115 patients are seen in A&Es across our network every day - 3rd largest in the country. Our hospitals admit an average of 195 emergency patients daily. Last year we undertook almost 33,700 planned surgical operations in our 57 operating theatres. We are one of only 7 Trusts nationally with more than 50 operating theatres.
