Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on care to patients, maintaining meticulous records and administering medication safely.
- Create personalized care plans and conduct thorough risk assessments to address each resident's holistic needs effectively.
- Respond promptly to residents' urgent needs while prioritizing and delivering timely care.
- Uphold the dignity and respect of service users while empowering them to make choices about their care.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care.
- Take charge of and supervise a team of care workers while leading by example.
- Adhere to local policies and procedures to maintain consistency and quality of care.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with NMC registration, Adult Nursing (RGN) or Mental Health Nursing (RMN)
- Prior experience working in Elderly Care or Dementia Care settings is preferred, but not essential
- Enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to delivering the highest standards of patient care
- Proficient in developing comprehensive care plans and risk assessments
