Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced occupational therapists to join our children's therapy service in the Pennine Locality at LSCFT as we embark on the development of our clinical leadership positions.

We are specifically looking for Occupational Therapists with passion and drive to deliver effective services to children and young people who also wish to work as a part of a developing leadership team with existing clinical leads to shape the future of service provision.

We are investing in a range of positions to ensure it achieves the best clinical outcomes for the population of children and young people in need of guidance, support and therapeutic intervention. We are looking for suitably trained and motivated therapists who can deliver on the occupational therapy pathways and contribute to its ongoing development. We are keen to invest in development at all levels of service provision including: self-management/universal support; targeted advice and strategies; specialist assessment, advice and therapeutic intervention; and highly specialist assessment and support.

Main duties of the job

We recognise that alongside clinical positions there is a significant need for strong clinical operational management for the teams and the Clinical Team Coordinator role is pivotal in managing the developments of the services in co-production with clinical leads and principle practitioners.

You will join our team of highly experienced and skilled therapist to offer a service across the Pennine locality. You will be based in one of our three teams across the patch but you will contribute to clinical care for children and young people residing across the locality. The clinical offer will be delivered by a combination of Telepractice and face to face appointments, some of which may be in the form of groups.

We are looking for individuals who are keen to invest in their own development and in return we will support you through professional and clinical supervision, shadowing and co-working opportunities, in-service training, professional forums, trust wide AHP research group, and funding opportunities for relevant external training courses.

We would welcome motivated applicants with direct experience of working with children, young people and their families.
