Job Description
We areseeking a skilled Application Developer to join our team. The idealcandidate will have experience developing modernized .NET Pythonand R/Studio applications. This position requires a strongunderstanding of Azure Cloud services agile methodologies andDevSecOps practices to ensure scalable secure and performantapplications.
KeyResponsibilities:
Develop modernized .NETPython and R/Studio applications based on approved designdocuments.
Utilize Azure Cloud services such as AzureApp Services Azure Functions and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) tobuild scalable and secure applications.
Engage in thedevelopment of new systems and the modernization of existing onesensuring seamless integration with the current applicationportfolio and Azure ecosystem.
Participate in ScrumAgile framework activities including sprint planning daily standupssprint reviews and retrospectives.
Ensure iterativeprogress and continuous feedback throughout the developmentlifecycle.
Implement necessary integrations with othersystems and services.
Conduct thorough unit andintegration testing to maintain high code quality andreliability.
Support the development and optimization ofPower Apps Power Automate flows and Power BI reports within theMicrosoft PowerPlatform.
Develop applications incompliance with NIH/HHS/NIST security requirements.
Ensure all applications undergo a Security Assessment.
Integrate DevSecOps practices to embed security at every stage ofthe development lifecycle.
Implement robust QualityAssurance Testing including automated test solutions and continuousmonitoring.
Ensure highquality secure and reliableapplication deployments.
Provide comprehensive usertraining and documentation for custom systems.
Ensureusers and IRMB developers can effectively utilize and maintain thedeveloped solutions. Qualifications:
Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science Information Technology or a relatedfield.
Minimum 5 years proven experience in .NET Pythonand R/Studio application development.
Experience withAzure Cloud services and Microsoft PowerPlatform.
Familiarity with Scrum Agile framework and DevSecOpspractices.
Strong understanding of application securityand compliance standards.
Excellent problemsolvingskills and attention to detail.
Effective communicationand collaboration skills.
PreferredQualifications:
Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CDpipelines.
Knowledge of automated testing frameworks andtools.
Familiarity with NIH Risk Management Frameworkand related security practices. Best Regards
