Job Summary:

This critical role is responsible for modernizing and developing.NET, Python, and R/Studio applications within a Scrum Agile framework. This includes sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure iterative progress and continuous feedback.

This role will ensure that applications are scalable, secure, and performant within the Azure Cloud environment, leveraging services such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

The role requires the integration of modern cloud-based architecture and the development of new systems to seamlessly integrate with the current portfolio and Azure ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, integrate, and deliver applications using frontend, backend, database, and hosting tools.
  • Deliver software products independently based on functional specifications.
  • Utilize all layers of the stack to complete coding, UI/UX, database integrations, and deployment activities.
  • Provide comprehensive test plans to ensure high code quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments, including data protection and privacy.
  • Monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure performance to identify and resolve issues proactively.
  • Design and modify scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) and platform-as-a-service (PaaS) platforms.
  • Implement integrations with other systems and services, conducting thorough unit and integration testing throughout the development phase.
  • Provide user training and comprehensive documentation for custom systems to ensure effective utilization and maintenance.
  • Support development on the Microsoft Power Platform, focusing on creating and optimizing Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8 years of experience in full-stack development and cloud architecture.
  • Strong understanding of modern software development practices and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work well within a team.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions.
  • Proficient in a variety of development programming languages, such as C#, C++, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, SQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and HTML/CSS.
  • Experienced with AWS API integration and cloud-based architecture.
  • Proficient in using version control tools, such as GIT, SVN, Mercurial, and frameworks, such as MEAN, Django, LAMP, or Ruby on Rails.
  • Extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology, particularly within the Azure Cloud environment.
  • Skilled in developing and modifying scalable architecture for IaaS and PaaS platforms.
  • Familiarity with Azure services, such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
