Role Overview: As a Waking Nights Care Worker, you will provide essential support to clients during the night. Your duties will include assisting with personal care, monitoring client well-being, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing personal care and support during the night Monitoring clients’ well-being and responding to their needs Ensuring clients are safe and comfortable Assisting with any nighttime routines Maintaining accurate records of care provided Communicating effectively with clients and colleagues

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a care role, preferably in a domiciliary or residential setting A compassionate and empathetic nature Strong communication skills Ability to stay awake and alert throughout the night Reliable and punctual Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Care Assistant to join our team in Liphook. This role is ideal for someone with a heart for care and the desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of elderly individuals. You will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with their daily routines, offering both practical help and emotional support to ensure their well-being and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

Transport your client to appointments, run errands such as picking up groceries or medications as well as accompany your client on outings and social activities -  a driving licence and access to reliable transport is required to support those in rural areas.  Provide personal care with dignity and respect, including assistance with daily routines, getting dressed, etc. Plan and prepare meals according to specific dietary needs. Offer medication reminders and assist with mobility. Engage in meaningful conversations and activities that promote emotional well-being and mental stimulation. Conduct light housekeeping tasks to maintain a tidy and comfortable living environment. Observe and report any changes in the client’s condition or home environment.

Hours:

Full-time position with a requirement to work some weekends and evenings on a rotational basis, Various working hours can be discussed to suit your lifestyle and commitments, Full-time/Part-time and Guaranteed contracts are available.
