Digital Transformation Programme Manager
Location: Hybrid (London or Corby)
RS Group is currently seeking an accomplished Digital Transformation Programme Manager to join our team permanently. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, managing, and delivering strategic global multi-year complex change programs that aim to revolutionize the RS Group customer experience, transform operational practices and processes, and implement cutting-edge digital technologies.

What you'll be doing:

Provide leadership to cross-functional program and project teams by defining objectives, ways of working, and tactics to drive collaboration towards program objectives. Guide cross-functional teams in developing detailed project schedules, milestones, plans, budgets, scopes, timelines, and risk mitigation plans. Develop and implement the program governance framework, overseeing planning, design, and monitoring of program delivery, including risk and issue management. Prepare, gain approval for, refine, and update business cases justifying program initiation and/or continuation in terms of benefits, costs, and risks. Lead the program team, to engage the global business to drive change adoption, coordinating individual projects, managing interdependencies, and resolving risks and issues. Facilitate trade-off decisions between quality, costs, scope, and time. Establish and manage a multi-million/multi-year budget management process to monitor costs and benefits. Manage financial aspects of the program, ensuring successful delivery. Ensure programs and projects prioritize customer needs, incorporating internal and external data sources to shape project delivery focused on enhancing customer experience. Lead and prepare program tender processes, collaborating with Legal, Procurement, and Program colleagues to identify and select partners. Oversee external delivery.

About you:

As the Programme Manager, you will oversee all aspects of new and existing programs/projects from initiation to close, serving as the single point of contact for all program activities, schedules, and statuses. This role requires the ability to work with initiative, operate globally at scale, and demonstrate developed problem-solving skills with coaching from the VP of Strategic Transformation.

Ideal candidates should have expertise in the following areas:

Recognized Project or Programme Management qualification (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Prince2, or MSP) or equivalent experience. B2B experience. Proven experience delivering large-scale, multi-million-pound transformational change programs globally, resulting in significant benefits realization. Hands-on delivery experience, managing end-to-end digital front-end transformation and digital initiatives. Experience in digitalizing internal processes and front-end transformation.
