Tax Advisor

We are looking for an experienced TaxSpecialist to deliver a full range of tax services in compliancewith laws and regulations within timeframes. The role will includebuilding relationships and interacting with clients to provideexcellent planning consulting and expertise.

Thesuccessful candidate will need to have an understanding of tax lawand will meet with clients to gather information and explainoptions and their implications to our clients in simpleterms.

Our work is detailed and complex and thesuccessful candidate will need knowledge in areas suchas:

• CorporateTax
• International and InheritanceTax
• NationalInsurance
• PersonalTax
• Trusts andEstates
• VAT

Ourclients include large and small companies partnerships trusts andindividuals. Typical areas of activity willinclude:

• Researching analysing andinterpreting changing tax legislation in both the UK andoverseas
• Meeting with clients and collatinginformation
• Working with tax law and revenueprovisions
• Liaising and negotiating with HMRCon behalf of the client
• Creating tax strategiesfor clients and planning their financialfutures
• Carrying out detailed computations tocalculate tax liability and advising on how to minimise a clientsliability
• Establishing and structuring familytrusts
• Estate planning and advising on taxresidence and domicile matters
• Drafting ofWills and Power of Attorneydocumentation
• Providing guidance on indirecttaxation issues such as VAT customs planning and environmentaltaxes
