As a healthcare navigator, you will excel in providing first-rate customer care & have great interpersonal skills at the front desk & on the telephone. You must be able to work flexibly in a team of healthcare navigators, on a rota basis, to cover surgery opening hours & to provide holiday & sickness cover, as needed, on an overtime basis. Shift pattern yet to be finalised.

Main duties of the job

Answering the telephone Managing the Patchs (online triage) requests Dealing with all enquiries from patients attending the surgery Booking & cancelling appointments Recording home visit requests Tidying up waiting area & clinicians rooms Filing of notes, correspondence, results, etc Taking results via the telephone from hospitals Chaperoning for patients when necessary Using SystmOne to send internal tasks, access patient records, send internal external messages, write patient correspondence etc
