Multi Trades Recruitment is a leading staffing agency specializing in placing skilled professionals in the mechanical and industrial engineering industries. We are currently seeking a Senior EC&I Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our clients.

As a Senior EC&I Engineer, you will be responsible for providing leadership and technical expertise in electrical, control, and instrumentation engineering. Your main focus will be on planning, designing, and implementing projects that optimize equipment performance and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

In this role, you will work closely with clients to understand their specific requirements and develop innovative solutions to meet their needs. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, technicians, and project managers, to ensure the successful execution of projects.


Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of electrical and instrumentation systems for various industrial processes
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to determine the viability of proposed projects
  • Prepare technical specifications, including engineering drawings, bills of materials, and equipment specifications
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their requirements
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including health and safety guidelines
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities to identify and resolve equipment issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or instrumentation engineering (or a related field)
  • Proven experience in electrical and control systems design
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including IEC, ANSI, and UL
  • Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities
  • Experience in project management and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
