This rolewill be producing MEICA 2D and 3D design deliverables of primarilyclean waterprojects.



Requirements

Whatthe role will involve for the DesignDraughtsperson:

  • Createdetailed technical drawings and plans to a highquality standard.Based on the designs supplied by engineers anddesigners.
  • Makemodifications to existingdrawings.
  • Liaisewith both engineers and designers to understand their designrequirements. Then provide technical advice to the manufacturingand constructionteams.
  • Alldrawings need to have accuracy detail and scale to BritishStandards.
  • Makesure all drawings are compliant with business client industry andH&Sstandards.
  • Maintaindesign input throughout the entire project lifecycle. From theinitial feasibility stage through to construction andhandover.
  • Maintainall recordsaccurately.
  • Workin collaboration with other designdepartments.
  • Supportproject and senior managers within thebusiness.

  • Anactive team member participating and transferring skills toothers.
  • Abilityto troubleshoot and strategize in order to meet the longterm visionof thecompany.
  • Experiencewithin a similar role.
  • ProficiencywithAutoCAD.
  • Competentin the use of Word andExcel.

What the role will involve for the Design Draughtsperson: Createdetailed technical drawings and plans to a high-quality standard.Based on the designs supplied by engineers and designers. Makemodifications to existing drawings. Liaise with both engineers anddesigners to understand their design requirements. Then providetechnical advice to the manufacturing and construction teams. Alldrawings need to have accuracy, detail, and scale to BritishStandards. Make sure all drawings are compliant with business,client, industry, and H&S standards. Maintain design inputthroughout the entire project lifecycle. From the initialfeasibility stage through to construction and handover. Maintainall records accurately. Work in collaboration with other designdepartments. Support project and senior managers within thebusiness. What we are looking for in the Design Draughtsperson: Anactive team member, participating and transferring skills toothers. Ability to troubleshoot and strategize in order to meet thelong-term vision of the company. Experience within a similar role.Proficiency with AutoCAD. Competent in the use of Word andExcel.
