Design Draughtsperson. Up to £50,000 per annum – Depending on experience. Based in Enfield – Hybrid Working. 5D are proud to be working in partnership with a leading Utility Services Business. This role will be producing MEICA 2D and 3D design deliverables of primarily clean water projects. What the role will involve for the Design Draughtsperson:

  • Create detailed technical drawings and plans to a high-quality standard. Based on the designs supplied by engineers and designers.
  • Make modifications to existing drawings.
  • Liaise with both engineers and designers to understand their design requirements. Then provide technical advice to the manufacturing and construction teams.
  • All drawings need to have accuracy, detail, and scale to British Standards.
  • Make sure all drawings are compliant with business, client, industry, and H&S standards.
  • Maintain design input throughout the entire project lifecycle. From the initial feasibility stage through to construction and handover.
  • Maintain all records accurately.
  • Work in collaboration with other design departments.
  • Support project and senior managers within the business.

  • An active team member, participating and transferring skills to others.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and strategize in order to meet the long-term vision of the company.
  • Experience within a similar role.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD.
  • Competent in the use of Word and Excel.
