About this role:

Our Operations Team is responsible for order fulfilment, managing our third party logistics and working cross-functionally in order to optimise our order fulfilment to ensure a brilliant customer experience, at a sustainable cost.  As an Operations Senior Manager, you’ll oversee two direct reports and report into the Operations Director. You will be responsible for overseeing our delivery fulfilment network and ensuring that we’re meeting business and cost needs. You will work across the business to ensure that the logistics are in place to support any new ventures.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

    Manages operations associates who handle the day-to-day logistics and live-operations. 

  • Manage and optimise the end-to-end order fulfilment process through third party logistics allocation, management, and problem-solving recurrent issues.

  • Relationship management with counterparts at third party logistics partners.

  • Analyse cost and performance data creatively for continuous improvement.

  • Maintain strong constructive relationships with our key  third party logistics partners, including regular meetings and QBRs to manage performance and negotiate costs when necessary.

  • Network internally across JET to find synergies and share learnings.

  • Work closely with product & tech in order to provide ops-insight to tickets and regularly provide feedback and new ideas. 

  • Manage, engage and empower operations associates through clear guidance and coaching.

  • Support the continuous L&D of direct reports

  • Manage and optimise JEFB’s end-to-end order delivery fulfilment through our network of  third party logistics, with regards to reliability, customer satisfaction levels and fulfilment costs.

  • Conduct regular performance analyses to optimise the combination of  third party logistics partners, and work with counterparts within the third party logistics network to implement performance improvement initiatives where necessary.

  • Create replicable, documented operational processes that can be used in new markets or when launching new services or products.

  • Work closely with the customer and restaurant facing teams to maximise the customer and restaurant delivery experience (stakeholder management).

  • Develop new ways of working, and monitor and track success of new initiatives, such as scaling up processes or adding new functionality.

  • A proactive problem solver who can get buy-in, and drive collaboration between multiple parties to implement solutions.

  • Proven experience managing junior individuals within operations or working within a similar development role

  • Experience with implementing operational change.
