Social Work Team Leader - Safeguarding (Richmond)

We are offering a £3000 welcome bonus plus a £3000 annual market supplement for this role

We are looking for enthusiastic, committed leaders who have the passion and the drive to make a positive difference to children’s lives to join our Kingston and Richmond teams. 

About the role

We are looking for experienced Team Leaders to join our Safeguarding Kingston and Richmond Teams. The teams works on a range of legal options to support investigation and protection and accommodation and if required we will provide evidence in court and we will consider using contingency planning to anticipate complexity and changing circumstances.

Your role as a Team Leader will provide the operational management and leadership support across the service supporting the Head of Safeguarding.

At AfC we offer a hybrid way of working and the Team Leader will have responsibility for the following:

Casework supervision of Social Workers Assisting overall management and development of the team Undertaking child and family assessments Carrying out child protection enquiries Safety planning with children and families Direct work with children and young people Care proceedings and court work

To be a Team Leader within the Safeguarding teams at Achieving for Children you will be passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people.
