Are you an experienced HCPC registered Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist looking for a new or additional role with career development opportunities? This role is part time working 1 day a week at HMP The Mount, Hemel Hempstead.
You will be responsible for assessing and treating a range of MSK pathologies with some complex and/or chronic presentations. You will need to demonstrate advanced MSK diagnostic and treatment skills, be able to work within the MDT and maintain records as an autonomous practitioner.
This is your opportunity to work as part of a forward thinking, innovative health care team, including GPs, nurses, pharmacists, podiatrists and mental health professionals, delivering high quality, best practice treatment. You will also form part of the wider MSK Health in Justice Team comprising of physiotherapists and podiatrists in immigration centres and prisons across the country.

You will be closely supported and mentored by our Clinical Lead, and this combined with our well-developed appraisal system, in-service training and funding for external clinical courses, you will be provided with an excellent supportive learning environment to continue your professional development.
With proven post-registration experience of assessing and treating MSK conditions in an outpatient setting you must have excellent communication and organisational skills and be willing to learn and develop.

As ourPhysiotherapist working with Practice Plus Group you will:
Provide outstanding evidence basedcare, listening and acting on patient feedback so that care is personalised andinformed by what matters to patients, focusing on both planned and unplannedcare.
Deliver non-judgementalcare, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries.Playing an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation andevaluation of the patients care following our policies, procedures and alwaysconsidering safeguarding.
Inspire excellence in your colleagues by being pro-active in themanagement of MSK conditions and motivating the wider team to identify patientspresenting with red flag symptoms. Youwill forge strong working relationships with the Practice Plus Group healthcareteam and the wider prison service.
Promote best practice, evidencebased care and continuous quality improvement embedding a culture of reflectionand shared learning.
Share knowledge, skills andexpertise to ensure safe care supporting your clinical and non-clinicalcolleagues to do a great job.
Be responsible for your own caseload and waiting list and be able to workas an autonomous practitioner.
