What you'll do:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand each client's needs, environment, and abilities.
  • Manage your caseload, including assessing socio-economic factors and keeping key stakeholders informed.
  • Be a champion for client safety, collaborating with statutory services and ensuring appropriate action is taken.
  • Help colleagues and families navigate changes in legislation and support systems.
  • Act as the primary contact point for families, agencies, and other organisations, coordinating communication for admissions, discharges, and long-term care.


Who you are:

  • A qualified Social Worker with a social work degree and SWE registration.
  • Committed to upholding the Mental Health Act, Children's Act, and Safeguarding procedures (training provided).
  • Experienced working in a mental health setting as a qualified practitioner.
  • Possess excellent communication, collaboration, and assessment skills.
