St Helens College and Knowsley Community College are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health & Safety Manager to oversee all health and safety practices within the college campuses. The Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with relevant legislation and regulations

- Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions

- Provide health and safety training to staff and students

- Investigate accidents and incidents, and implement preventative measures to avoid future occurrences

- Monitor and evaluate health and safety performance and provide regular reports to senior management

- Liaise with external agencies, such as regulatory bodies and emergency services, as needed

- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and changes in health and safety legislation
