Job Description

Join Publicis Groupe UK Finance team as our Senior Commercial Finance Manager, Media. Partnering with our UK Senior Commercial FC, UK Media CFO, and Media Leadership teams, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and growing our business in this ever-evolving industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic partner and commercial finance lead for our UK Senior Commercial FC and CFO, supporting our UK Media CEO and senior leadership teams to shape the overall direction of our UK Media business.
  • Support financial planning and reporting, delivering consistent, accurate, and efficient financial information that informs business decisions.
  • Develop short, medium, and long-term strategies in partnership with Media leadership teams, focusing on growth optimisation, cost control, and pipeline management.
  • Partner with business teams to deliver commercial growth, supporting and evaluating business plans, negotiations, and pitches.
  • Collaborate with EMEA/Global/Groupe colleagues to deliver commercial best practice and support commercial growth through a 'Power of One' lens.
  • Drive accelerated operating margin growth across the Media practice through meaningful business analysis and insights.
  • Embrace technological changes to deliver efficient processes, challenge the status quo, and champion efficient ways of working.
  • Foster accountability, maintain a strong controls environment, and ensure consistent application of Publicis Groupe policies.
  • Contribute to analysis on UK-wide projects in close collaboration with finance teams across different regions.
  • Focus on talent planning, training, and development, fostering diversity and inclusion, clear goal setting, respect, collaboration, and celebrating success.

Essential Experience:

  • Accomplished senior finance leader with a proven track record of leading finance teams to deliver best-in-class financial reporting and commercial rigor.
  • Qualified accountant with a proven history of career progression in large, dynamic organisations.
  • Experience in media, advertising, or digital sectors is advantageous.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to thrive in a fast-moving, agile, and matrix environment.
  • Focus on customer service, both internally and externally, with a positive, collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple initiatives/projects in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a demonstrable track record of building, leading, and retaining high-performing teams.
