Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Technical Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for leadership and direct line management of one or more delivery teams comprising Software Engineers, Quality Engineers and Business Analysts and tasked with building and maintaining world class, cloud-based IT solutions. 

You will need to work closely with Product Managers, Project Managers and other engineering teams and stakeholders to define delivery plans and lead your team to execute against those plans. 

With a technical background you will be able to constructively challenge solutions to business problems and steer your team to meet standards and follow processes that deliver high quality, high performing and secure software to delight our customers. 

As a servant leader, you will coach your team to better ways of working, with the focus on collaboration, knowledge sharing and individual and team growth whilst encouraging innovation and continuous improvement. As a line manager you will be responsible for the personal development of your direct reports, in addition to your own. 
Skills Knowledge and ExpertiseMust Have:  
  • A technical background with experience working as part of a software delivery team
  • Experience line managing technical staff operating across the software delivery life cycle 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A coaching mindset with experience building high performing teams and creating a culture of psychological safety
  • A proven ability to communicate technical decisions to non-technical audiences
  • A Lean/Agile mindset with in-depth understanding of agile frameworks
  • Familiarity with the concepts and practicalities of delivering cloud-based products, services and customer centric solutions
  • An understanding of the importance of automation and the concepts of customer self-service
  • A laser focus on delivering value to customers frequently and often and a recognition of the importance of fast feedback
