Position Overview

We are currently recruiting for a part time Caretaker, responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the facilities and external areas to Companies House, Cardiff clean and safe. This position calls for an organised team player, committed to achieving the highest standard of work within a busy site.

Main Duties

· Assisting in planning and co-ordination of cleaning and clearing of the internal and external car parking areas including but not exclusive:

Cleaning dirt and debris, Removing rubbish Litter Picking Carrying out ground maintenance. Leaf Blowing & collection Cleaning Main Car Park Cleaning Lifts in MSCP Gritting Paths Car Park Oil Spill

· Coordinate and take direction from other service line managers to ensure a seamless service is delivered to the customer

· Responsible for ensuring all tasks are carry out works safely, efficiently, compliant and to the required standard

· To work in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures

· Development of positive working relationships between the soft service team and other service lines

· Responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, Health & Safety, Quality Assurance & Environment

· The ability to manage fluctuating work demands

· To keep the areas of the site which come under our demise clean and tidy at all times.

· Be professional when dealing with clients over the phone or face to face and promote excellent customer service

· Escort Confidential Waste company employees while on site

Person Specification

· Previous Experience in cleaning and caretaking

· Manual handling experience

· A positive "can-do" attitude

· The ability to remain calm in a changeable environment

· Experience of working as part of a team

· Continuously pursue high standards and learn from experience

· Maintain high level of accuracy
