We are working with a well-established,friendly business based in Maidstone.

Due togrowth, they are currently seeking a Junior Finance Administratorto join their team full-time andpermanently.

Responsibilities willinclude:

Sorting invoices into categories forpriority and ease of processing
Check invoices fromsuppliers to ensure prices and items charged arecorrect
Find out where all ordered items have ended up(fitted/faulty/returned)
Record invoice details on theinternal system
Email & phonesuppliers/engineers/office staff with invoice queries & respondto those as needed
Put all queried invoices in dispute onSage to prevent payment before the query is resolved & removethem from dispute once the query is resolved to clear it forpayment
Update the status of the invoice once processed(cleared for payment / queried) to keep track of theinvoice
Chase invoice queries monthly
Respondto office and supplier questions related toinvoices
Chase credits for items that have been returnedand record credits on the internal system
Update reportsfor returns, latest updates on invoice queries and creditchasing
Ensure invoices are processed promptly beforepayment is due

The ideal candidate will havesome finance/accounts experience in a similar role. Be able to workin a fast-paced, busy team. Have excellent attention to detail andexperience using Excel.

Hours for this roleare Monday to Friday 8am-5pm, alternatively, they can offer 9am-6pmor 7am-4pm.
