What will you be doing;
- Use of forklift to empty process metal skips and unload vehicle deliveries of process consumables
- Carry out routine & basic maintenance of mobile plant, including oil and water checks etc, reporting defects found
- Assist with on-site traffic management and site housekeeping
- Operate overhead travelling refuse cranes
- Operate weighbridge & plant maintenance computer systems
- Support operations and maintenance colleagues as required routine tasks on day shift
- Compliance with company environmental, health and safety procedures and statutory requirements
- Carry out other reasonable tasks and duties as requested by management
What we're looking for;
- Current mobile plant and fork truck driving qualifications
- Ability to operate, or train to operate, a variety of mobile equipment and fixed plant
- Intermediate computer skills
- Familiarity with health & safety procedures
- Able to communicate effectively orally & in writing
- Available and willing to work overtime (paid) when workload demands
