Senior Teaching Assistant / Higher Level Teaching Assistant - SN25

My client is seeking a passionate Senior Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team at a primary school in Swindon. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work with a mixed Reception and Year 1 class, contributing to a vibrant educational community. This is a permanent position starting in September on a full-time basis.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Promoting the emotional, physical, and educational development of pupils
- Covering absent teachers and supporting classes across the primary phase
- Participating in the planning, delivery, and monitoring of individual education plans
- Developing effective relationships with pupils to achieve learning targets
- Assisting with the implementation of behavior management plans
- Supporting curriculum delivery through differentiated tasks and activities
- Engaging with parents and external professionals to enhance pupil development
About You
- Be able to do the job as described
- Proven experience working in a primary school environment
- Ability to cover classes and deliver lessons as per teacher plans
- Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with pupils and colleagues
- Flexibility to adapt to changing classroom needs and activities
