Mobile Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider - Commercial Buildings – Northampton – Up to £45,000 + Package

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mobile Engineer to carry out planned and reactive commercial maintenance across a commercial contract with sites around the Northampton area.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This position would be ideal for a Mobile Engineer currently in a similar position. In return, the company are offering a salary of up to £45,000 with a potential route into further career progression.

Hours of work

  • Monday- Friday 08:00-17:00
Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
  • Emergency lighting tests
  • Control Panels
  • Changing Ballast
  • BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
  • Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
  • Maintain and update Log books
  • Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
  • Pumps, motors
  • Compliance and logbooks
  • CAFM systems (elogs and Webquote used onsite)
  • Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
  • Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
  • Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
  • Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
  • Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
  • Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
  • Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.
  • Escort specialist subcontractors

Requirements

  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled
  • Good communication skills
  • Client Facing
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles and systems
  • Previous experience of performing a Building Services Engineer role
  • Must be able to work unsupervised to a high quality
  • Relevant qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering
