Seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Northampton. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plant machinery and equipment at client sites.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary of £32,000-£35,000 (OTE £45,000-£55,000) per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have a strong background in plant maintenance, with experience working with hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systems.

You will travel to client sites, diagnose complex technical issues, and conduct routine inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in this role.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for leadership and a desire to manage and grow a team of their own. Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering, are advantageous but not required.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Travel to client sites to perform maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment.
  2. Diagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  3. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
