We are looking for a Product Manager M/F  to set theServices’ vision and aftermarket strategy for one of Wabtec Transit product lines.

This position can be based anywhere in France, Europe, UK and its scope is worldwide.

At the core of Sales & Marketing, technology and customer experience teams, you will interact with your O.E (Original Equipment) product line colleagues as well as the worldwide Sales teams to position your Services offering and ensure execution of an ambitious strategic plan .

You will represent Services in the Product Management process.

In a nutshell you will:

· Be responsible for maximizing the Product aftermarket business value (targets on orders, revenue, cost & margin, market share of service business for a given Product Line)

· Lead the Services vision of the Product with the O.E. teams, translated into both strategic plans and budget reviews / follow ups. Define a roadmap for your product/ portfolio of solutions to execute on the strategy.

· Collect and structure customers’ needs and pain points

· Identify market trends and assess opportunities for your product line

· Drive market intelligence and competitors’ analysis, stay abreast of pricing and solutions

· Follow project phases for a continuous improvement of product/services solutions

· Ensure standard products/services are used in tenders and projects

· Steer the continuous competitiveness improvement of Product/Services, including Life Cycle Costs, engineering, manufacturing, methods, suppliers

·Engage in pro-active lobbying activities together with regional/country Product line, pitch your product line with the Transit Sales and Marketing teams, develop when relevant thought leadership elements to be used on social media

· Develop business cases and product/services plans for the selection, definition, development, validation, scheduling and introduction of an innovation.

· Share the vision, strategy and roadmap with the stakeholders (O.E., Regions and team members), ensure relevant stakeholders are properly trained on the value proposition of your product line

· Establish strong working relationship with regions/countries KAM and sales, Engineering, technical product manager to support the strategy, best practices sharing.

Profile required:

· Ideally graduated from Engineering or Business school (BA, MBA), you have at least 8 years of experience in product management, possibly with sales, business development and/or P&L responsibility.

· You have worked in international context before, either in rail market and/or OEM supplier, transport or infrastructure industry, operating in a matrix organization. This experience has enabled you to develop strategic thinking and influencing skills to build impact both internally and externally.

· Your passion and skills allow you to be at ease both in technical and commercial environments, with a strong appetite for revenues and margin generation as well as broader P&L components.

· Your communication skills are confirmed, you establish networks, reach out proactively both internally and in customers’ environments – You’re looking at developing strategic presence and executive stand in an international environment. While you enjoy driving initiatives and “self-start “you also know how to work in teams across large organizations

· Fluent English mandatory, other European languages appreciated .

· Travel abroad will be required
