**Job Summary**:
This role is responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring the efficient and accurate production of goods.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Equipment Operation**: Operate assigned production machinery according to standard operating procedures.
- ** Quality Control**: Conduct regular quality checks throughout the production process to ensure adherence to specifications and identify any defects or issues.
- ** Equipment Maintenance**: Perform routine maintenance on production equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs, to ensure optimal performance.
- ** Material Handling**: Assist in the movement, loading, and unloading of raw materials and finished products, ensuring proper storage and organisation.
- ** Training and Development**: Engage in training programs to enhance skills; prior machine operation.
- ** Process Improvement**:Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- ** Communication**: Maintain effective communication with the print & production department and team members.
- ** Safety and Compliance**: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe workplace.
- ** Documentation**: Maintain accurate production records, including output quantities, equipment logs, and quality control reports.

**Person Specification**:

- **Education**:Functional skills
- ** Experience**: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or direct experience operating machinery preferred but not essential.
- ** Technical Skills**: Proficiency in operating production equipment and machinery. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and follow standard operating procedures.
- ** Physical attributes**: Ability to stand for extended periods.
