Nottingham, United Kingdom Black Fox Solutions Full time
As a Disability Assessor, you'll embark on a fulfilling career, applying your healthcare knowledge in a distinct manner. You'll evaluate clinical assessments for individuals seeking the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) without direct face-to-face interactions.

Job Details:
  • Your responsibilities will include reviewing provided data such as questionnaires, medical documents, and feedback from medical experts. With this information, you'll compile evidence-based reports.
  • These reports will detail the claimant's medical background, ongoing treatments, how their condition affects their daily life and mobility, and your evaluation of their requirements. You'll also propose review schedules and offer suggestions grounded in the evidence.
  • To be eligible, you should possess a minimum of one year of post-registration experience in fields like nursing, occupational therapy, paramedics, or physiotherapy, and be registered with the HCPC/NMC with an active PIN.
  • Precision, keen understanding, and strong writing abilities are crucial. A deep grasp of disability and health issues, adeptness in deciphering medical data, and computer proficiency are also required.
  • Comprehensive training is provided, followed by on-the-job guidance, recognising that this role may be unfamiliar to you.

The initial salary is £35,000 per annum, rising to £36,000 post-approval, complemented by potential 10% quality bonuses. Benefits encompass 23 paid holidays, life assurance, a company pension, and adaptable benefits. Moreover, you'll be presented with diverse career advancement prospects through training and progression.
