As an IT Support Engineer at Uniserve, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our 400+ users have seamless access to essential applications and information assets. You'll be responsible for resolving technical issues, providing remote support, and conducting on-site visits to address user device problems. Your analytical skills and passion for problem-solving will be key to delivering exceptional support to our team.

Please note this role will require travel to our Upminster and Tilbury offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain user accounts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop equipment and software access issues.
  • Set up and configure new IT equipment.
  • Maintain and upgrade existing user equipment.
  • Install and configure operating systems and computer software.
  • Troubleshoot basic network and connection issues.
  • Prioritise and manage logged issues.
  • Provide support for VOIP telephone systems and mobile phones.
  • Maintain the Asset Database.
  • Dispose of end-of-life equipment.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Thin Client IGEL, Desktop/Laptop Windows 10, Citrix, and VOIP telephony using 3CX.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with remote support tools.  
  • Must hold a valid Driving License to allow movement between offices
