We are looking for compassionate and committed healthcare assistants in Rochdale, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality one-to-one care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling them to live as independently as possible in his home.

Meet our service user

Our service user is a young male in his teens who lives in Rochdale with his loving family. We are looking for a dedicated team to support his complex needs on a 1:1 basis to support his complex care needs throughout the night.

He loves spending quality time with his family and care team and enjoys attending his educational setting, socialising with his friends and teachers.

Throughout the night you will closely observe and monitor his complex care needs. You will provide Support with all personal care, repositioning, and offering reassurance and comfort to ensure a restful nights sleep.

It is important to understand his methods of communication and identify his wants and needs, as he is non-verbal. Patience and understanding area key qualities for this role.

Main duties of the job

Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

We have the following shifts available

Part Time Available 2 shifts per week Nights- 10:00pm-7:00am Alternate weekends are required for this position.

Weeknights: £ per hour (Approx. £ per 9-hour shift Weekends: £ per hour (Approx. £126 per 9-hour shift) Bank Holidays £ per hour (Approx. £ per 9-hour shift)

Job responsibilities

The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service users individual care and support plan.

The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.

Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service users right to privacy and dignity is maintained
