Pay Scale: £120 - £180 Per Day

Contract Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

About the Role:

As an experienced Science Teacher, you will be responsible to deliver high-quality science education to the students. You will design engaging, innovative lessons that helps students to grow interest and attain deep understanding in scientific principles.

Key Responsibilities of a Science Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive Science lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum standards, ensuring students are well-prepared for assessments and future academic challenges.
  • Implement differentiated teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom, providing each student with the opportunity to excel.
  • Emphasise real-world applications of scientific principles, utilising hands-on experiments and cutting-edge resources to make science relevant and captivating for students.
  • Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to analyse assessment data and refine teaching practices.
  • Create a positive and encouraging classroom environment that fosters a love for scientific inquiry, promoting respectful behaviour among students.

Qualifications and Requirements of a Science Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Specialise in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or relevant field.
  • Proven experience in teaching Science at school level is preferred.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Science education.
  • Familiarity with and commitment to the principles of the school’s curriculum.
