How you’ll make a difference
The Head of Cyber Security Architecture & Solutioning will lead the team responsible for delivering cybersecurity, handling active incidents and threats, and ensuring our security settings remain at appropriate levels to protect TSB and our customers. You will also provide expertise in cybersecurity and serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for both new and existing programmes across TSB.
 
Key Accountabilities
• Responsible for execution of NIST control framework requirements.
• Design and deliver security solutions and services into TSB.
• Work within teams of security and technical specialists to ensure quality delivery of world class security solutions.
• Lead and assist Risk Assessment exercises designed to highlight and clearly articulate IT Security risks.
• Coach cyber security staff from a technical SME (including Security Engineers) perspective.
• Define security deliverables to project and change initiatives during early engagement.
• Develop and provide detailed specifications for IT security solutions and support the development of security testing plans.
• Create and govern risk stories to ensure new releases follow the best security practices.
• Propose and develop security mitigations to address identified threats and vulnerabilities.
• Ensure cyber security controls are implemented effectively and reviewed regularly.

What you’ll bring
• Experience in all aspects of the 9 Cyber Pillars - A strong understanding of all accountabilities within the CISO teams, including security operations, Threat Intelligence, E-Crime, Forensics & Cryptography and knowledge of Identity & Access Management, Data Security, Supplier Assurance, and Industry Attestations.
• A strong understanding of security technologies, tools, and best practices.
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities, with a passion for driving change and promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical teams and stakeholders.
• A commitment to staying up to date with the latest security threats, trends, and best practices.
