Main duties of the job
Phyllis Tuckwell is looking to appoint a Senior Registered Nurse,predominantly working night shifts, to provide high quality palliative nursingcare to patients on the Inpatient unit. The role involves shift leadership and requirespartnership working with Phyllis Tuckwell colleagues as part ofthe MDT to ensure care is coordinated, compassionate, holistic andperson-centred.
The successful candidate will be committed to working to ensure high qualitycare, patient safety and will have a commitment to learning. They will bepassionate about working effectively for the benefit of patients, carers, andfamilies.
Thesuccessful candidate will have:
Experience of working inan inpatient setting Experience of working inpalliative care Excellent communication,prioritisation and decision-making skills The ability to work inpartnership with patients, families, and carers The ability to workcollaboratively and flexibly as part of one team, focussed around the needs ofpatients and their families Experience in aleadership role with an ongoing commitment for learning and development Resilience
