Teaching Personnel are looking for Learning Support Mentors to join one of our schools in the north Cambridge area. The school caters for young people aged 3 – 19 years old with a range of complex and significant learning needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to SEN students with a range of needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualised learning plans for each student.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the unique needs and learning styles of SEN students.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to help students build confidence and self-esteem.

Requirements:

  • Available full-time
  • Previous experience with SEN is desirable
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting the unique needs of SEN students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond to the changing needs of students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
